CanAffco Affiliate Boot Camp to run during CAP Euro

Cap Euro is pleased to announce the third event in the series of Affiliate Boot Camps is going to be hosted CAP Euro in Barcelona taking place in Barcelona this year.

Following growing success at the CAP London and Amsterdam conferences, CanAffco will be hosting their next event on Saturday, September 27th at the CAP Barcelona affiliate event which is set to be the biggest iGaming affiliate event ever seen with well over 70 stands and 1,000 plus attendees.

The CanAffco Affiliate Boot Camp events are one-day seminar series hosted by many of the top affiliates in the iGaming industry, and are designed for new affiliates, and for those established affiliates that are interested in increasing the profitability of their businesses.

Confirmed speakers for the Barcelona event include; Karim Wilkins of Rake the Rake, Jeremy Enke and Greg Powell of Poker Affiliate Programs, Nicky Senyard with Income Access, Jason Rosenberg of the Online Forum Challenge, and Gian Perroni with the Canadian Affiliate Management Company.  Additional speakers will be added prior to the event.

“The Affiliate Boot Camps have been created to help affiliates that are new to the industry, or still relatively inexperienced, understand not only the great opportunities that they have in the gaming business, but how to achieve them.” said Gian Perroni, President of CanAffco.

“These are instructional seminars for affiliates, taught by affiliates, so we know that they will be on point.  These boot camps are also a great way for affiliates that have not been exposed to the gaming industry to get a handle on how dynamic it is.  We look forward to meeting with the affiliates that are dedicated to taking their businesses to the next level.”

CAP Euro Barcelona is open for action

Just a brief post to officially announce this event open!

The next CAP Euro in Barcelona will be HUGE with even more stands and surprises and best of all I am expecting us to easily surpass the 1,000 delegate mark, which means we will easily retain our title for being the biggest best iGaming affiliate show.

I think what people like about our shows is that we have found a perfect balance of business and enjoyment…..This comes from some very simple rules which we follow for every event we put on

1. All affiliates attend our events free of charge

2. The early bird doesn’t always get the worm - We all work very hard at these events, especially at night so it seems pointless starting at 8am as the only people there are the poor exhibitors that have to be. We used to start at 9.30am but are moving this to 10am and maybe even 10.30am so no more excuses for looking rough!

3. There will be a networking activity every single night. 99% of the time we have all flown a long way and spent a lot of money to attend an event so need to get as much value as possible. On many occasions I have attended an event where there were no evening events organised which means you either hang out with your colleagues or with people you already know; this is all well and good to an extent but it limits your experience massively especially because so much business and contact making is done at night at these events.

4. Quality not quantity with the speakers, so rather than a whole day of speakers of which 1 is memorable we go for just 3-4 sessions (ending at around 2pm) per day that are on the best subjects presented by the best people.

5. An expo room should never just be a shell for stands - It needs to be a fun place to hang out and do business which is why we encourage stands to have DJs, bars, games etc. and why we run the Affiliate Series of Poker, a free bar and much more through out the expo areas .

6. Always look to improve - At every event we introduce something new and try to improve areas we aren’t so good at. An example of this at the next event is the introduction of both a Spanish and French language stream, a lottery style game which will give out 3,000 euro per day in CASH, an improved registration system, a much better ASOP and much more.

We are as I say always learning.

Poker Channel Europe to film CAP Euro

The Poker Channel is back at CAP Euro to film the show, ASOP and the awards  If you didn’t see the program “All In Barcelona” on The Poker Channel Europe then you missed out because it was all about the CAP Euro event in Barcelona, and included interviews with affiliate managers and fellow affiliates as well as some incredible coverage of the Affiliate Series of Poker. But don’t worry you can still catch the full half an hour program on the CAP Euro website, just click here to view it.  Even better news is that the Poker Channel Europe had so much fun in Barcelona they are back and will be making another program on our sector at the London show in January. This new program will once again cover CAP Euro, the ASOP and the parties but will also include coverage of the CAP Awards, which are set to be an extremely glamorous event on the Friday night of CAP Euro. But don’t worry if you are shy, because they won’t be filming anyone that doesn’t want to be on the show.

Lou Fabiano founder of CasinoAffiliatePrograms.com commented on this news:  “We are positively thrilled to have The Poker Channel join us at ASOP and CAP Euro London. Their coverage of the event allows us to showcase the Affiliate Series of Poker (ASOP) to a world audience and injects an even higher level of excitement for our players. Viewers get a chance to experience CAP Euro first hand and see why it’s become the number one affiliate event in Europe. It’s a definite win-win situation for everyone. “

The Poker Channel Europe was launched in March 2005 as Europe’s first dedicated poker channel The free-to-air channel now reaches over 14,800,000 homes in 11 European markets including France, on Noos, Numericable and Free; Belgium on BeTV; Germany on Kabel Deutschland, Unity Media and Kabel BW; and across Scandinavia on Canal Digital. On 16th November, The Poker Channel became the premier TV destination for poker fans in Spain, launching on Imagenio, Spain’s fastest-growing TV platform. The channel also airs in the UK as a branded block on Sky channel 167 between 10pm and 12am.  Viewers can watch Poker Channel highlights anytime and anywhere via its TV site, pokerchanneleurope.com and an unrivalled network of online partnerships including Youtube, www.youtube.com/pokerchannel, Joost, Vuze, Zattoo and Mediazone.

Crispin Nieboer, Founder of the Poker Channel said:  “We are delighted to be filming and televising the prestigious CAP Euro and ASOP events in association with our programme sponsors PokerHeaven.com. TV continues to be the most powerful mass-market media platform for the gaming industry, and we look forward to capturing the spirit of CAP Europe 2008, the excitement of the ASOP, and giving all attendees the chance to experience our programming, and learn more about how they too can take advantage of our unique marketing platform.”

AffClub Grab Platinum Sponsorship at CAP Euro: London

With more affiliates in attendance, the best speakers and the biggest parties, CAP Euro has rapidly grown to be the biggest iGaming affiliate event in the market, which means stands and sponsorships are snapped up in days rather than months which the is traditional pattern.

One of the luckier programs to snap up a sponsorship was AffClub who were the Royal Flush ASOP sponsors at CAP Euro in Barcelona. In fact they didn’t just get any old sponsorship they are the new Platinum sponsors, so will have the biggest stand at the event by a long way!

In the past CAP Euro has seen some very original stand ideas to tempt people onto them, ranging from foosball tables to professional masseurs but with rumours of AffClub looking to create the best ever stand seen at an affiliate event we can expect to see some big surprises I am sure.

You may not be aware of AffClub as it was only formed this year however don’t be fooled. It isn’t a new program by any distance, in fact it is a collaboration of the leading online casino affiliate programs in the industry: IOG Casinos and Tradal under the leadership of PartyGaming.

Gary Myers of AffClub commented on the Platinum sponsorship:

“After the success of CAP Barcelona we were determined to continue our close relationship with CAP. We believe that taking the Platinum sponsorship at CAP Euro is one of the most effective ways for us to market the new brand to the affiliate community. It gives our affiliates the opportunity to see that although the name has changed, we are still essentially the same company with all the positives that go with that.”

By bringing the two companies together PartyGaming have created AffClub which has no less than eight well-established casino brands, two renowned poker rooms and a thriving online bingo site. Like their planned stand at CAP Euro, AffClub are determined to set a new standard for gaming affiliate programs.

Louis Fabiano, the founder of CasinoAffiliatePrograms.com commented

“We are pleased to welcome AffClub as our Platinum Sponsor at CAP Euro London. They are a great new program which combines the strength of well established and respected brands with innovative new marketing tools for affiliates so we have high expectations for their success in 2008.”

CAP Euro is set to be the biggest event ever seen in the iGaming affiliate market and with the help and support from market leading programs like AffClub the organisers are able to continue to not charge affiliates anything to attend, which is completely unique in this industry. For a zero cost attendance fee affiliates can learn from expert speakers from all over the world, network with established and new partners in the exhibition room and networking parties, compete in off the wall competitions like table foosball or try and become the Affiliate Series of Poker champion and win $7,000 as well as the converted ASOP gold and diamond bracelet.

Plan your trip early

We all know from experience costs go up the closer you get to an event from a room to a flight so lets try and make an effort to plan the trip now especially because once it is done you have nothing to worry about except what to pack - If you really want to get organized why not book restaurants as well because if CAP Euro is anything like last year all the top places will be booked before you know it. One affiliate, Graham at PAW has found this brilliant deal for people coming from Canada - His post in this thread reads:

“For those interested, British Airways has a great promotion on until the 20th for people coming from some parts of Canada. Free hotel (1 night per person in your party) + 199 each way. (And yes, they have the Hilton Olympia)” I have also started a thread on the CAP site for everyone to post which hotel they are staying in - This way we can find the best deals and all still hang out together Click here for the the thread on CAP Euro hotels
